3rd Annual CONCACAF Women’s Football Day to be Celebrated on Nov. 18th, 2017

CONCACAF Women’s Football Day (WFD) is celebrated every year in the month of November. This year the third CONCACAF Women’s Football Day will be celebrated on Saturday November 18, 2017.

The focus for this year is on the younger generation. The aim is to consolidate a platform for the sustainable growth of women’s football within the country. November 18 is the official kick-off preparations for the CONCACAF U-15 Girls Championship.

This tournament is all about player development, exposing young girls to what football offers on and off the field, it is an opportunity to see what skills they need in order to reach the next level.

The Football Federation of Belize plan in line with CONCACAF is to have each member affiliate including San Pedro, Benque Viejo Del Carmen and Independence to select five girls born in the year 2003-2004 to be a part of this event.
