This weekend, the Football Federation of Belize had the privilege of hosting a graduation ceremony for 12 individuals who successfully completed their training in Mediation and now form a part of the National Dispute Resolution Chamber. In alignment with FIFA's mandate and strategic objectives, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) has instituted its dispute resolution framework by incorporating mediation as a primary method for resolving football-related conflicts. As part of this initiative, the FFB has established a National Dispute Resolution Chamber designed to efficiently address disputes among football stakeholders, including players, clubs, and the FFB itself. The Mediator’s role is to facilitate dialogue and guide the parties toward a mutually acceptable solution. The FFB strongly promotes mediation for its capacity to empower parties and foster more sustainable outcomes. The mediation services provided by the FFB will be specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of football-related disputes, ensuring a focused, discreet, and timely approach to conflict resolution. Additionally, the FFB has established a roster of certified mediators who are trained to conduct mediations under the auspices of the Football Federation of Belize.Guided by its mission, the FFB continues working towards building a strong football culture through sustainable practices to become the best ambassadors on and off the field. ...
